Mid-Columbia STEM Education

Collaboratory projects address our goals and seek to produce relevant STEM education outcomes related to our focus on student success, educator effectiveness and community engagement and support. Initial projects include:

  • Computing the Future – Develop advocacy and support for computer science education in our local K-12 schools.
  • Experiencing the STEM Spectrum – Foster excitement and support for STEM education in the broader community, while promoting networking opportunities between educators, families, and community partners, through shared, authentic STEM experiences.
  • STEM Flicks – Increase understanding of real-life applications of STEM by connecting Mid-Columbia K-12 students and their teachers, via video, to local examples of STEM in the workplace.
